Hi, I'm Hunter. I’m the founder and owner of Alpine Asset Management. I started the firm to help individuals and families plan for the future and navigate important financial decisions.

After earning my Bachelors degree from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, I went to work for Capital Finance Corporation, where I did research and due diligence related to real estate finance and property development. Then I moved to Colorado and worked for Charles Schwab Investment Management as a trading assistant, helping support the operations of Schwab’s mutual funds and ETFs. My broad financial experience and in-depth investment knowledge led me to become a resource for friends and family, and I soon developed a passion for helping people make wise financial decisions.

Realizing how much I enjoyed helping people with their finances, I met with several financial advisors and started learning about the personal financial services industry. But the more I learned, the more I recognized that much of the financial “advice” people were getting was primarily based on what would sell—not what was actually in their best interest. Eventually, I decided the best way to help people with their finances was to further my education and start my own firm.

I established Alpine Asset Management in 2015 and feel very fortunate to be able to combine my love of finance and investing with my desire to help others.
